In June 2020, Natura &Co launched its sustainability vision, Commitment for Life for 2030, which details the company’s plans to ensure equality and inclusion across its network. The cosmetics group, which employs more than 40,000 people, undertook a comprehensive study of its position on equitable pay and gender balance across 73 markers in partnership with global human resources consultancy Mercer. The study found a 13% gender pay gap, irrespective of role, location and experience. As part of its sustainability vision, Natura &Co has committed to gender pay equity and set a target of achieving 100% pay equity by 2023. The company has also set a target of achieving 50% female representation across all roles, functions and locations.
