By participating in the UN Global Compact Target Gender Equality initiative, Solunion, an insurance company, has taken actions to advance gender equality. The company’s participation in this initiative has helped it to identify strengths and areas for improvement in terms of gender equality performance through the WEPs Gender Gap Analysis Tool. The company has participated in training activities to strengthen women’s representation and leadership and set ambitious business targets in terms of gender equality.
Solunion has also launched an inclusive language guide to promote the use of inclusive language in its communications. The guide contains recommendations for the use of language and images in internal and external communications at Solunion, as well as actions and behaviours that help to foster respect for diversity and promote awareness, integration and social and professional inclusion.
