Within the framework of its commitment to guarantee that workers in its supply chain receive a living wage, Inditex has established multiple pillars in its Manufacturers Code of Conduct. These pillars include the promotion of collective bargaining, responsible purchasing practices, improvement of work methods and systems, collaboration with other interest groups and support campaigns. Together, these elements drive the improvement of living wage levels. Furthermore, Inditex participates in the Action, Collaboration and Transformation Agreement (ACT) launched in 2014 between large brands and unions to support the rights to collective bargaining of workers in the clothing sector, which supports the objective of increasing living wages in this sector.
