Bereits seit 2003 zielt Social Way darauf ab, nachteilige soziale Auswirkungen zu mildern und zu bew\u00e4ltigen und gleichzeitig die Entwicklungsm\u00f6glichkeiten der betroffenen Gemeinschaft zu erh\u00f6hen. Dieses Programm war das erste seiner Art in der Bergbauindustrie. Die Komponente \u201eRechte indigener V\u00f6lker\u201c des Anglo American Social Way orientiert sich am <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifc.org\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/topics_ext_content\/ifc_external_corporate_site\/sustainability-at-ifc\/policies-standards\/performance-standards\/ps7\">IFC Performance Standard 7<\/a> (PS7), der darauf abzielt, nachteilige Auswirkungen von Unternehmen auf indigene Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen zu minimieren und gleichzeitig eine positive Entwicklung zu unterst\u00fctzen. Social Way steht auch im Einklang mit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifc.org\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/topics_ext_content\/ifc_external_corporate_site\/sustainability-at-ifc\/policies-standards\/performance-standards\/ps1\">PS1<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifc.org\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/topics_ext_content\/ifc_external_corporate_site\/sustainability-at-ifc\/policies-standards\/performance-standards\/ps8\">PS8<\/a>, die sich auf Risikomanagement und die Achtung des kulturellen Erbes bei indigenen Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen konzentrieren.
